Does Loyola ACTUALLY recycle?
Believe it or not, we get this question ALL the time. Loyola sends its recycling to Allied Waste, where it is processed and recycled. We share monthly recycling reports here on our blog so you can see how much waste Loyola is actually sending to be recycled each month.
What is single stream recycling? How does it work?
Single stream recycling is the recycling process where all recyclable materials are mixed together in the same container. Recyclables are separated out for processing at the recycling plant. In order to participate in single stream recycling, you simply place all recyclables into the recycling bin you have in your room or office. Don’t worry about separating them!
